As a company, we are committed to taking responsibility for our environmental footprint. We have been strategically implementing new procedures in order to ensure we dramatically reduce our waste and promote awareness of the positive impact that changes in one organisation can have on the environment. We recognise that the impact of our actions today will affect the planet for future generations, which is why we are committed to always striving to do better. We have achieved ISO 14001 Environmental Standard – this means we must evaluate our organisation, put in place an environmental policy and be constantly monitoring our performance and continuously improving.

 

We recycle all the plastic bags and cardboard boxes from our ethically sourced raw material and have stopped packaging our tiles using cardboard boxes – opting for more environmentally friendly means of packaging.

 

Other benefits of choosing Ecoloc include the fact that not only are our tiles 100% recyclable, but we also provide tiles made from 100% recycled material and any reject tiles are shredded and recycled into tiles again. 

 

Within our buildings all food waste and packaging is recycled and we have managed to enhance personnel and production awareness and target major reductions in waste.
